Respecting the environment and ensuring safety at work for our collaborators is not only possible or necessary for our territory and the people with whom we work, but is also financially advantageous in the long term.
This is why we obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems Certification in 2005 and the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety Management System in 2011. This is also why we have never stopped searching for and developing ever new and ever more effective solutions.
Because we know that sustainability in industry is – and will increasingly remain – the determining factor for competitive success.
EPD®
The EPD® International System is a communication tool for international markets.
The main objective of the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is to provide relevant, certified and comparable information about the environmental impact of a product.
An environmental statement is defined, by the ISO 14025 standard, as a document that contains the quantification of the environmental performance of a product using appropriate categories of parameters calculated with the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology and then following ISO 14040 series standards.

SUSTSTEEL®
(Sustainability for Steel Construction Products Mark)
The SustSteel project was promoted on a European scale by Eurofer (European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries).
The certificate is awarded exclusively to companies active in the production of reinforcing bars that are virtuous from the point of view of sustainability and certifies the goodness of governance through the monitoring of activities.
Only at the end of a recognized qualification process carried out by a third party (BV), as a total guarantee of the impartiality of the assessment, was the certificate obtained.
In particular, the activities monitored and judged favorably concerned the control of processes involving emissions into the atmosphere and the use of renewable resources including not only ferrous scrap, but also energy. The process evaluated the emissions into the atmosphere, including those of CO2, and the consumption of water resources.
